Job description

Johnson Controls Security Solutions LLC seeks Senior Commercial Account Executive, Security at its facility located at 6830 Shadow Ridge Dr, Suite 215, Orlando, FL 32812.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Monitor the new business development for North America and Local business accounts, regarding new and existing customers. Deploy a commanding knowledge of the product line and of the services. Monitor the sale of more sophisticated, integrated solutions and products. Be involved in prospecting and working with the existing customer base. Review the jobs sold and daily admin activities. Coordinate with other representatives on the projects. Secure profitable sales and upgrade to new, existing and discontinued Johnson Controls Commercial customers within assigned territory while maximizing customer satisfaction and retention. Work with and develop the skills of newer sales associates as directed by the Commercial Management team. Work on Fire, as well as integrated technologies to ensure that the selling rep as well as the customer's needs are met, and that Johnson Controls' job profitability is assured. Adhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs and services. Create a new market share by selling a broad range of Johnson Controls products and services to new local commercial customers. Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities as well as sell add-ons, amend, and convert the existing customer systems to meet the customers' expectations. Renew existing customer agreements. Review resale opportunities within an assigned territory. Sell products within the assigned territory consisting of integrated video surveillance, access control, and fire sales. Review fire jobs, where NICET certification and an understanding of local municipal codes are required to be estimated, confirmed, and sold with the support of this associate. Identify prospects utilizing creative lead-generating techniques and maintaining productive working relationships with existing customers. Utilize approved marketing materials to include in the Commercial Model Sales Call process to present the sales presentation and proposal to prospects, assuring that the customer understands the value proposition, positive features and advantages of the products and services over those of the competitors. Follow up with prospects in a timely manner. Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete line of products/services and customers' issues and needs through in-house training, networking and reading/research. Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence. Process the work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures. Conduct post installation follow-up by contacting the customer, ensure that commitments are met and affirm customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service. No Telecommuting Allowed.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires five (5) years of experience as a Commercial Sales Representative, Senior Commercial Account Security Representative, or related occupation in the security, IT, or other technology sales industries. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Utilizing system integration (video surveillance, intrusion detection) and compliance with security standards; (2) Integrating video systems with access control and intrusion detection for comprehensive security solutions; (3) Work on assigned sales territory effectively by using CRM tools, including prospecting, pipeline development, and customer retention, for accurate forecasting and pipeline management; (4) Account planning, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions; (5) Electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and integrated solutions; and (6) Fire alarm systems design, installation, and maintenance in compliance with NFPA and local codes.
