Job Description
Position Summary: Serves as Department of Highland Family Medicine's Liaison with the Medical Staff, Shared Services, Primary Care Network and URMFG Offices. Participates in responsibilities for onboarding all incoming and existing HFM providers. Assist with faculty appointments. Primary Assistant to Chair, Medical Director and Senior Program Administrator. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and communication with clinicians and staff. Management of calendars including clinical schedules as applicable.
Salary Range:
$23.30 - $30.37 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Associate's Degree required (preferably in Secretarial Science, Business Management, Healthcare, Social Sciences); or equivalent experience.
  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required with executive-level support experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year (prefer 3 years) of medical staff credentialing experience highly desirable, preferably in . Leadership experience desirable.
  1. License/Certification Required -Notary Public Certification - current or obtain within 3 months of employment start date.
  1. Skills - Ability to handle high-level of confidentiality and display professionalism at all times. Advanced computer skills working in Microsoft Office is required. Position requires excellent human relations and communication skills. Expertise in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Flowcast BAR - current or obtain within 3 months of employment start date. Proficiency in HRMS desirable - current or obtain within 3 months of employment start date. Requires the ability to tend to detail while in a busy atmosphere. This position necessitates good judgment, strong communication skills, assertive problem-solving, strong customer relations skills, ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and challenges in a busy environment. Candidate must also have a professional, polished demeanor as a key representative of the department.
