Job description

Job Title: SFDC BA / Product Manager
Location: Palo Alto, CA - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week, no full remote)
Job Type: Contract

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with Salesforce admins, developers, architects, and third-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering resource allocation, budgets, risks, and issue tracking
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Manage change requests with proper impact analysis and approvals
  • Provide executive-level status reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Drive user adoption through training, change management, and stakeholder communications
  • Support post-go-live hypercare and manage enhancement requests within a structured release cycle
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Customer Success, and Finance to define SaaS/recurring revenue metrics (ARR/MRR, Churn, NRR, Renewal Rates)
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of project management experience; at least 5 years managing Salesforce projects
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Salesforce certifications preferred (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Consultant credentials)
  • Scrum Master or PMP certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (MBA preferred)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with JIRA, Asana, or MS Project
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools (e.g. Netsuite)
  • Exposure to Copado or other DevOps/release management tools
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts

Note: Interview process may include up to 3 rounds, one of which may be face-to-face in Palo Alto, CA. Local Bay Area candidates strongly preferred.
