The Opportunity
This is a senior finance leadership role serving as the strategic business partner to the Global Project & Development Services (PDS) business, one of JLL's largest and most commercially complex business lines with $4bn of revenue. Reporting to the Real Estate Management Services (REMS) CFO and working closely with the Global PDS CEO, the role carries full accountability for PDS financial performance, planning, and commercial excellence across all geographies. This involves proactively working with the PDS CEO to build strategies and direct leaders to deliver the financial targets. Additionally, this role will also proactively communicate financial messages and narrative for the PDS business to be used both externally and internally.
The Global Head of Finance will translate complex financial data into clear executive insight, drive P&L and cash discipline, lead high-quality FP&A processes, and bring experience and commercial acumen to major deals, investments, and strategic decisions.
This is a role for a proven finance leader who is equally effective engaging PDS business leadership and working through detail with their team of 50 professionals, supported by the shared services center of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as trusted advisor to PDS global and regional leadership on strategic priorities, margin initiatives, and resource allocation.
  • Represent finance in PDS leadership forums and REMS and Global finance team meetings.
  • Own the PDS P&L, driving comprehensive performance analysis, rolling forecasts, and annual business planning with actionable recommendations to the PDS CEO and REMS CFO.
  • Provide strategic guidance on commercial deal structuring, pricing, and M&A transactions.
  • Lead enterprise-quality FP&A including long-range plans, budgets, KPI frameworks, and scenario modelling.
  • Controllership integration, ensuring a smooth close, audit and SOX representation for the business line
  • Working capital and DSO management
  • Project margin lifecycle, percentage-of-completion / revenue recognition oversight
  • Cost discipline and platform leverage as part of Accelerate 2030
  • Manage and develop the global PDS finance team, championing AI-enabled tools and ensuring financial governance and reporting integrity.

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years progressive finance experience in operations finance, FP&A, and commercial deal support within global professional services, real estate, or construction.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership partnering with business segment CEOs and senior finance leadership.
  • Advanced financial modelling and commercial structuring capability.
  • Experience leading global finance teams across multiple geographies.
  • Scalable FP&A process design and governance in complex multi-country organisations.
  • Professional qualification: CPA, ACA, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in project management, construction, or development services finance. M&A due diligence and deal modelling experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise FP&A platforms and AI-enabled analytics tools.
  • Exposure to rigorous financial governance in large, publicly listed or Fortune 500-equivalent organisations.

Location
  • This position is based at our Chicago HQ and requires working in office at least 3 days per week.

Estimated compensation for this position:
275,000.00 - 325,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
