What you'll own:

The Proposal and Content Specialist drives revenue by managing the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) lifecycle while equipping sales teams with tools, content, and training. They bridge strategy and execution, managing proposal content libraries and crafting tailored responses. An RFP (Request for Proposal) Coordinator manages the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions to prospective clients. They coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), edit content, ensure brand consistency, and meet strict deadlines. This role requires strong project management, writing, and organizational skills to turn technical information into persuasive, high-quality proposals.


Essential Job Functions:

  • RFP Management: Own the end-to-end RFP process, including proposal writing, project management, and coordinating input from subject matter experts.
  • Content Strategy & Curation: Maintain an up-to-date RFP content library and create sales enablement assets like battlecards, templates, and case studies.
  • Strategic Messaging: Customize proposals to highlight differentiators and align with specific client needs.
  • Sales Enablement: Support sales teams, ensuring they have the tools and information necessary to win.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize AI and automated tools (e.g., QorusDocs, RFPIO) to increase efficiency and proposal accuracy.
  • Win/Loss Analysis: Interview prospects and review data to understand why deals were won, lost, or stalled to uncover actionable insights on product gaps, pricing, and competitive positioning to increase future win rates.
  • Compliance Management: Reviewing RFPs for requirements and ensuring all submissions adhere strictly to client instructions and guidelines.
  • Content Library Maintenance: Maintaining and updating a library of standard proposal content, case studies, and templates.
  • An essential function of this role requires onsite work to collaborate with other team members. Remote work can be conducted at managers discretion and in accordance with company hybrid policy.

Job Qualifications / Skill Requirements:.

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in sales enablement, RFP management, proposal writing, or marketing or a related role (e.g., marketing, business development).
  • Writing & Editing: Excellent communication skills with the ability to edit technical documents for clarity and consistency.
  • Software Proficiencies: Proficiency in GoogleDocs and experience with CMS (content management systems) or CRM tools like Hubspot and Domo.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.
  • Background in B2B environments is highly preferred; prior exposure to the Fintech industry or a strong interest in financial technology is a significant plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
