Job description

Position Summary Creek Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Technical & Program Protection Education Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Department of War (DoW) Program Protection initiatives through curriculum development, instructional delivery, educational technology integration, and program evaluation. The selected candidate will provide expertise in Program Protection Planning (PPP), security systems engineering principles, and adult learning methodologies to develop and deliver high-quality educational products supporting the Department of War mission. This position requires close collaboration with government stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, instructional designers, and faculty to develop, evaluate, and continuously improve both resident and distributed learning programs. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and instructional skills with experience supporting Department of Defense education and training initiatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program Protection & Technical Support * Evaluate Office of the Secretary of War Research & Engineering (OUSW R&E) Program Protection applications for Department of War implementation.
* Assess application capabilities and provide recommendations for integration into DoW educational products, training programs, and operational environments.
* Develop operational use cases, demonstration scenarios, and instructional materials supporting Program Protection initiatives.
* Analyze testing and evaluation results and provide recommendations for system improvements and future implementation.
* Prepare technical reports, assessments, briefings, and executive-level recommendations for government stakeholders.
* Review, revise, and maintain course content based on student feedback, instructor observations, policy updates, and testing outcomes.
* Support continuous process improvement efforts to ensure training products remain current with evolving DoD guidance and mission requirements.
Instructional Design & Training Delivery * Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, hybrid, and distributed learning solutions.
* Facilitate student engagement using adult learning principles and effective instructional methodologies.
* Support curriculum development utilizing Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies, including ADDIE.
* Assist with course planning, execution, student assessments, and post-course evaluations.
* Collaborate with instructional designers and technical subject matter experts to create engaging learning products, simulations, and eLearning content.
* Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration and educational technology implementation.
Required Qualifications * Active Secret Security Clearance (required).
* Experience developing and delivering technical training or educational programs.
* Experience with curriculum development, instructional systems design (ISD), or eLearning development.
* Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with government personnel, instructors, technical subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
* Experience preparing technical documentation, reports, assessments, and executive briefings.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Security Studies, Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline.
Desired Qualifications * Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
* Recent experience supporting Program Protection Planning (PPP).
* Experience supporting Department of Defense education, acquisition, or security programs.
* Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology platforms.
* Familiarity with ADDIE, Systems Approach to Training (SAT), ISD, or comparable instructional design methodologies.
* Experience developing blended learning, simulation-based instruction, and distance learning solutions.
* Knowledge of DoD acquisition, systems engineering, or Program Protection policies.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Curriculum design, instructional development, and course evaluation.
* Technical writing and documentation development.
