Job description

Technical Field Account Executive (Unlimited Earnings | Mid-Market & Enterprise Focus)

Location: Utah (Hybrid – local travel required)
Type: Full-Time | Uncapped Commissions

About the Opportunity

Are you a proven technology sales professional with a strong network and a passion for helping organizations solve complex IT challenges?

At Calculated Research & Technology (CR-T), we’re seeking a Technical Field Account Executive to develop new mid-market and enterprise relationships, deliver tailored technology solutions, and earn uncapped commissions with no ceilings or limits.

This is a high-autonomy, high-reward position ideal for top-performing sales executives who want to leverage their experience and relationships to build long-term, recurring revenue within a trusted, growth-focused MSP and IT solutions provider.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Development

  • Identify, pursue, and close new mid-market and enterprise clients across IT hardware, software, managed services, and professional services.
  • Leverage your existing client base and professional network to accelerate growth.
  • Build and manage a strong, predictable pipeline through outreach, renewals, and referrals.

Client Engagement

  • Conduct in-person meetings and executive-level presentations that communicate business value and outcomes.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle — from discovery to proposal to close — while maintaining accurate CRM documentation (ConnectWise).
  • Represent CR-T at partner events, industry conferences, and client engagements to expand market presence.

Solution Expertise

  • Deliver consultative, business-focused solutions that align with client goals and CR-T’s core offerings.
  • Partner with engineers and solution architects to craft and present tailored strategies.
  • Stay ahead of evolving technology trends to position CR-T as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Account Growth

  • Expand client relationships through strategic cross-sell and up-sell initiatives.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and retention by delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and revenue goals.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B technical sales or IT consulting experience, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or managed services.
  • Demonstrated success in new client acquisition within mid-market or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; vendor certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, HPE, etc.) a plus.

Why Top Performers Choose CR-T

  • Uncapped Commissions – No limits, no tiers, no ceilings. Your effort drives your income.
  • High-Performance Culture – Collaborate with ambitious technologists and industry leaders.
  • Autonomy & Support – You own the client; we deliver the solution.
  • Hybrid Flexibility – Combine in-office collaboration with remote productivity.
  • Recognition & Rewards – Profit sharing, company trips, and celebrations for top achievers.
  • Comprehensive Benefits – PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, 401(k), gym reimbursement, and more.
