Job description

Position: Executive Healthcare Management Consultant

Location: Hybrid

Schedule: Part-Time (20 hrs./week)

Travel: Regional travel to client locations required


General Summary:

The Executive Healthcare Consultant serves as a strategic advisor to Medicare-certified home health agencies and other post-acute healthcare organizations. In this role, you will partner directly with executive leadership teams to improve clinical quality, regulatory compliance, operational performance, financial outcomes, and long-term organizational success.

This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare executive who enjoys mentoring leaders, solving complex operational challenges, preparing organizations for regulatory success, and driving meaningful organizational change.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate organizational operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert consultation regarding Medicare Conditions of Participation, OASIS, QAPI, survey readiness, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive operational assessments, mock surveys, and clinical audits while recommending practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Evaluate clinical workflows, documentation practices, quality outcomes, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives that strengthen quality, compliance, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
  • Mentor administrators, clinical directors, and executive leadership teams through organizational growth and change management.
  • Assist organizations with policy development, staff education, leadership development, and implementation of industry best practices.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, referral development, and collaborative partnerships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, hospices, and other healthcare providers.
  • Analyze organizational data and quality metrics to identify trends and recommend evidence-based improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, operational excellence, and patient-centered care.
  • Participate in client meetings, executive strategy sessions, and organizational planning initiatives as needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Executive or senior leadership experience within a Medicare-certified Home Health organization required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Medicare Conditions of Participation, OASIS, QAPI, survey readiness, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven success improving quality outcomes, operational performance, financial performance, and organizational growth.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the region.
