Tetra Tech is adding an HR Operations Administrator  to our Human Resources team based in Edmonton, AB.
This is a great opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys supporting others, keeping things running smoothly, and taking pride in accurate, high-quality work. Your Role:

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, ensuring exceptional data quality and confidentiality.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for employee documentation, including preparing and distributing offer letters and employment verification letters.
  • Update employee files in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and administer routine HR processes while ensuring deadlines, documentation, and service standards are consistently met.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience supporting Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Executive Administration, or other confidential administrative functions is an asset.
  • An Administrative Professional Certificate, Office Administration Diploma, Business Administration Diploma, Human Resources Administration Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and administrative experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Taleo and Oracle systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
