Job description

Leidos is hiring an Executive Assistant to support a senior leader in our Corporate Finance organization. This goes beyond traditional executive support. You'll own the operational fundamentals - calendar, travel, communications, expenses - and serve as an operational partner to the executive: running the leadership team's operating cadence, driving cross-functional initiatives to closure, preparing materials for the board and senior leadership, and representing the executive's priorities when they can't be in the room.

You'll thrive here if you've been the person leaders rely on to keep things moving, surface what's slipping, and quietly turn intent into shipped work.

What you'll own

Executive support

  • Manage a high-volume calendar with sharp prioritization across competing internal and external demands
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel end-to-end, including changes on the fly
  • Draft, edit, and triage correspondence on the executive's behalf; protect inbox bandwidth
  • Process expenses, invoices, and POs accurately and on time
  • Plan offsites, team events, and recurring leadership convenings

Operational partnership

  • Run the executive's operating rhythm - staff meetings, 1:1s, leadership cadences - including agendas, pre-reads, decisions captured, and follow-through tracked to closure
  • Build and maintain materials for the board, audit committee, and earnings cycles in partnership with FP&A, Investor Relations, Controllership, and Legal
  • Lead or coordinate special projects that cross functions - process redesign, org changes, leadership team onboarding, ad hoc deep dives
  • Serve as the executive's eyes and ears: synthesize what matters, flag risks early, represent priorities consistently across the org
  • Partner with peer executive assistants across Leidos to align on enterprise rhythms and senior-leader logistics
  • Handle highly sensitive information with absolute discretion

What you bring

Required

  • 5+ years supporting C-suite or senior executive principals, ideally in a public company, professional services firm, or large corporate finance organization
  • Demonstrated experience operating beyond traditional executive assistant scope - running operating cadences, managing projects, or acting as an operational partner to a senior leader
  • Excellent written communication: you can draft a leadership note, a board summary, or a delicate email and get the tone right the first time
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and comfort learning enterprise systems (Concur, Workday, Costpoint or similar)
  • Track record of holding confidence at the highest level
  • Calm under quarter-end and unplanned escalations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • US citizenship

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior exposure to corporate finance or company level business rhythms
  • Experience supporting executives in a publicly traded company, including familiarity with earnings cycles and SEC reporting rhythms
  • Background in or adjacent to defense, government services, or another regulated industry
  • Formal or informal project management experience

How we'll know you're the one

  • You see around corners. You spot the calendar conflict, the missing pre-read, or the brewing issue before anyone raises it.
  • You write tight, clear, and on-brand.
  • You take ownership without needing the title or the credit.
  • You give and receive direct feedback well, and you protect your principal's time without making the rest of the company feel shut out.

If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. At Leidos, we outthink, outbuild, and outpace the status quo - because the mission demands it. We're not hiring followers. We're recruiting the ones who disrupt, provoke, and refuse to fail. Step 10 is ancient history. We're already at step 30 - and moving faster than anyone else dares.

Original Posting:May 28, 2026

For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.

Pay Range:Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
