PRACTICE DETAILS

White Plains Hospital,  a 292 bed , award winning hospital, located  25 miles north of Manhattan, has an immediate requirement  for a Neurohospitalist.

The Neurohospitalist will provide the clinical and procedural skills necessary for the efficient delivery of high quality care to patients with acute neurologic illness and acute neurologic complications of inpatient general medical and surgical conditions, and provide inpatient neurology consults from the floors and the emergency department.  The Neurohospitalist will also develop and implement quality initiatives and research opportunities, and lead the effort for accreditations related to neurological diseases and disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical Degree - MD or DO and a valid NYS Medical License
  • Completion of a Neurology Residency and/or Fellowship program.
  • Board Certified in Neurology
  • Proficiency in all procedures, techniques and skills listed in the delineation of privileges as required for area of specialty.
  • Meet and maintain compliance with all requirements for Medical Staff privileges at White Plains Hospital.
  • Compliance with CME requirements (Hospital, Regional, State, and Federal)
  • Demonstrates excellence in clinical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
