Job description

Role Overview
Under the guidance of theNational PDC Operations management, the Analyst, PDC OPS maintains MOBIS PartsAmerica (MPA) Parts Operations data necessary to forecast growth and determineappropriate resources required to support Hyundai and Kia sales. The positionprovides statistical reports with historical data measuringperformance/quality, trends, and opportunities. This role focuses onoperational month-end activities as well.
Presents data/informationthat will be utilized to project models for such areas as corrugated costs,equipment utilization, space analysis, and labor requirements. Createstatistical models and graphic representations for Operational review.
The Analyst should be awareof and utilize, where appropriate, other Parts Department and Fixed Operationsprograms whose information can be used to assist management in the analysisand/or improvement of trends and/or issues disclosed by such research.

Responsibilities
Review and analyze PDC improvement initiatives and utilize statistical reporting methods to report trends /progress. Prepare Executive Summary reporting based on analysis of data for capital projects and major initiatives.
Provide parts management support in terms of sizing, slotting, PDC layouts, re-warehousing, space utilization, parts measurement data base and maintaining the Warehouse Optimization system (WOS). In addition, this role needs to take the lead in the deployment of the PLUS (PDA based Logistics in the Ubiquitous System) and Warehouse Optimization System (WOS) throughout the country. The lead role will coordinate the rollout schedule, test and document processes and ensure proper on-site training and capability is established to ensure a successful launch.
Analyze all dealer returns, track / maintain percent of sales and report trends / Insure consistency of proper codes submitted and approved. In addition, this role will need to establish new reporting formats, data gathering and storage/distribution.
Develop department and PDC operating procedures for daily, monthly and annual process, i.e., reporting, budget, man hour reporting and resource allocation. These procedures will be required for the Advanced Mobis Operating System (AMOS) and utilized platforms such as Access, slotting tools, ADP and document sharing tools.

Key Performance Indicators
Assist National and PDC Management with projects associated with PDC Operational initiatives as outlined by National Management.
Ensures prompt distribution of analysis and reports to divisional management to correct/augment deficiencies/trends/issues regarding PDC Operational improvements.
Track and identify all dealer returns by code and identify trends / issues and provide recommendations to National and
Local PDC Management to augment those trends/issues identified.
Utilizes Statistical Process Control tools to identify shifts in activity at National, Regional, District and Dealer level.
Maintain MPA PDC sales and lines processed data necessary to project and plan optimal location, size and layout of future facilities necessary to support Hyundai and Kia growth.
Analyze PDC inventory accuracy data and results.

Work schedule/hours &Travel
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hybrid/remote schedule, 2 days in office.
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
