Job description

As part of this growth journey, we're seeking a Marketing Analytics Analyst. The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of marketing, data, and business strategy, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable growth.

A Day in the Life:

Reporting to the Director, Growth Marketing, this role will own marketing channel analytics, customer analytics, and performance reporting, while partnering closely with our media agency to support Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and incrementality testing.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on analytical rigor with strategic thinking and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where marketing accountability and ROI are paramount.

The starting salary for this position is $65k, commensurate with relevant work experience.

What You'll Do:

Marketing Channel Analytics & Performance Management

  • Own end-to-end analysis of marketing performance across channels (Search, Social, Programmatic, CTV, Marketplaces, CRM)
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to track KPIs including prospects, conversion, CAC, ROI, and contribution to sales
  • In partnership with our media agency, deliver weekly, monthly, and campaign-level performance insights with recommendations for optimization
  • Identify opportunities to improve channel mix, targeting, and budget allocation
  • Partner with media agency to evaluate geographic performance and scaling opportunities

Customer & Lifecycle Analytics

  • Analyze customer behavior across the funnel from acquisition through repeat purchase
  • In partnership with the Director, CRM and Lifecycle Marketing, develop segmentation frameworks (e.g., first-time buyers, financing segments) for activation across email and paid media channels
  • Identify drivers of prospect growth and conversion
  • Provide some support for personalization and CRM strategies with data-driven insights
  • Partner with data teams to enhance customer data models and audience strategies

Measurement, Attribution & Agency Partnership (MMM / MTA)

  • Serve as internal lead supporting MMM and MTA with agency partners
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks
  • Interpret outputs to inform budget allocation and channel contribution
  • Support incrementality testing and experiment design
  • Ensure insights are operationalized into marketing decisions

Reporting, Insights & Executive Storytelling

  • Translate data into clear business narratives and recommendations
  • Develop executive-ready reporting on performance vs targets
  • Highlight key drivers of growth and optimization opportunities
  • Support budget planning and forecasting with data insights

Data Infrastructure & Tools

  • Partner with Hertz Data and MarTech teams to ensure reliable data pipelines
  • Standardize KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Drive adoption of analytics tools and reporting automation

What We're Looking For:

Experience

  • 2-4+ years in marketing or growth analytics
  • Experience with paid media and digital marketing analytics
  • Experience with MMM, MTA, or incrementality testing
  • Experience working with media or analytics agencies
  • Experience in eCommerce, automotive, or consumer businesses preferred

Technical Skills

  • Advanced SQL and Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, Looker, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta)
  • Understanding of attribution, experimentation, and forecasting
