Sr. Director of Sales
Job Description
Responsible for leading the organization’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and overseeing all sales operations. This executive role develops high‑performing sales teams, builds strong customer relationships, and ensures the company meets or exceeds its revenue targets. The VP of Sales partners with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with organizational goals, expand market presence, and strengthen the company’s competitive position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market penetration, and customer retention
  • Acting Sales Account Management full scope of all Plum Gas Solutions (US and Canada) sales activities;
  • responsibility for sales accounts and generating new business within the US – US Leasing business growth
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets for North America – Dashboard – 30-60-90 days forecasting
  • Build, mentor, and manage high‑performing sales teams across multiple regions or business units
  • Growth of the data center market, Canada virtual pipeline, and US leasing business
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and strategic accounts
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy
  • Optimize sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support integrated growth initiatives
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales performance, opportunities, and risks
  • Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and customer engagements
  • Continuously refine sales processes, KPIs, and performance management systems
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including management of multi‑site or enterprise‑level teams
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving sales growth
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a fast‑paced, competitive environment
Preferred Education and Experience
