Cisco Network Architect- MSP experience

Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and implement complex multi-vendor network and security solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Serve as a senior technical escalation resource for engineers and consultants, providing guidance and resolution for high-impact issues.
  • Proactively manage critical incidents, coordinating with clients and leadership to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Partner with manufacturer engineering teams to secure lab access, validate designs, and support solution deployment.
  • Evaluate client environments, develop strategic recommendations, create detailed technical designs, conduct peer design reviews, and lead implementation planning.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and promote continuous professional development.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key technology vendors and remain current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain advanced, manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, FCX, CISSP, UCS) and pursue additional certifications aligned with professional development goals.
  • Develop and enhance standardized assessment, delivery, and testing methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality service execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline with 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Multiple top-tier industry certifications preferred (e.g., JNCIE, FCX, CISSP).
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, both in-person and remote, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all organizational levels.
  • Strong executive presence, professional demeanor, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive network designs and implementation strategies.
  • Deep technical proficiency in architecting, deploying, and supporting enterprise IT solutions across wired and wireless networking, security platforms, and data center networking technologies.
