About ALC
At Automated Logic, we've been developing and supporting intelligent building solutions for over 40 years, helping everyone from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations operate more efficiently. Our solutions reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and improve indoor air quality and occupant productivity. We are expanding our footprint in Nevada and looking for a pioneer to lead the charge.
About This Role: The Greenfield Opportunity
There is a distinct advantage in our industry when you can sell with total confidence in the product's performance. In this role, you aren't just managing a territory; you are building one. As a Strategic Account Executive in a greenfield market, you have the backing of a world-class brand with the entrepreneurial freedom to establish Automated Logic as the premier choice in Nevada.
Engineers already trust our platform, and our product opens doors. Your job is not to convince people that the technology works, but to uncover the specific building challenges within this new market and connect customers to the right solution. You will own the Nevada portfolio, supported by a collaborative team of engineering, operations, and service experts.
Who You Are
  • The Market Builder: You thrive in "greenfield" environments and are energized by the challenge of introducing a gold-standard solution to a fresh landscape.
  • A Solution Architect: You prefer "selling the solution" rather than "selling the box."
  • A Relationship Strategist: You excel at navigating complex accounts and influencing stakeholders - from facility managers to C-suite executives - to see the long-term value of BAS technology.
  • Technologically Savvy: You are a proactive problem-solver who understands the intersection of building mechanics and digital intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the Presence: Identify high-potential prospects and lead business development activities to spark regional growth.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers across the state.
  • Influence Design Upstream: Work with engineers early in the process to influence specifications and ensure ALC solutions are integrated at the foundation of new projects.
  • Lead the Bid Process: Identify new opportunities, prepare comprehensive responses, and lead negotiations to secure business.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure technical feasibility and a seamless transition from "sale" to "execution."

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience in Outside Sales, specifically within HVAC Controls Technology.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid and current Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC Building Controls Systems
  • Strategic Mindset: Experience analyzing market data to build and execute a winning business strategy.
  • Tech Literacy: Experience using CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline (Salesforce experience a plus!)
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Communication Excellence: Ability to deliver compelling presentations that articulate the ROI of intelligent building solutions.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

  • Retirement Benefits
  • Time off and Leave: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty leave; military leave; purchased vacation
