About the opportunity:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Coordinator to provide expert secretariat support to the University Council, Academic Board and their committees. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective operation of governance processes through the preparation of high-quality committee papers, agendas, minutes, and related documentation.

This role requires strong judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly develop insight into complex academic and corporate governance matters. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing timely and professional advice while ensuring compliance with the University's governance framework.

Position Description: Senior Secretariat Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end secretariat support for University governance committees, including coordination of agendas, papers, minutes and meeting logistics.
  • Accurately capture, synthesise and document committee discussions, decisions and actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Liaise professionally with committee members, senior executives, and stakeholders, providing clear guidance on governance processes and requirements.
  • Apply and interpret governance frameworks, policies, and delegations to ensure compliance and sound decision-making processes.
