Job description

Overview:
Provides secretarial/administrative support directly to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), exercising tact and diplomacy
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serves as liaison between the CLO and bank personnel and responds to questions and/or issues on organizational matters.
  • Handles a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the day-to-day activities and operations of the CLO.
  • Maintains CLO's business calendar and uses discretion to screen requests for meetings and appointments. Reschedules meetings and appointments to meet special contingencies.
  • Coordinates all travel arrangements and prepares business itineraries.
  • Performs project-oriented assignments for the CLO to include researching data, compiling information, and preparing formal reports on results and recommendations.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, and summaries of an advanced nature. Composes memos and other types of correspondence for executive management.
  • Prepares and arranges business presentations, management letters, and other communications in a timely and professional manner.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in experience.
  • 7 years' experience at successive levels of responsibility as an Executive Assistant

Education and Experience Preferred:
  • Experience supporting an executive in a large corporate environment highly preferred.
  • Experience in the legal field ideal.
