Reports To: Director of Manufacturing

Position Overview

Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic piping systems seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to directly support our Director of Manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a master of organization, an exceptional communicator, and a power-user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and can seamlessly manage schedules, documentation, and departmental workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage the Director’s calendar, and handle travel arrangements.
  • Advanced Document Preparation (Word): Draft, format, and finalize high-level correspondence, contracts, board reports, and presentations. Apply professional styling, templates, and track-changes with precision.
  • Data Management & Reporting (Excel): Maintain executive trackers, build spreadsheets, and utilize formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements) and pivot tables to organize large datasets into clean, actionable summaries. Prepare, format, and distribute production reports, safety logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Project Coordination: Track deliverables and deadlines for ongoing executive projects, ensuring the team stays on schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

Industry Context: Experience working within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment is highly preferred, as you will interact frequently with plant operations.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of administrative or secretarial experience, ideally supporting a department head or director.
  • Education: Associates degree preferred (or equivalent workplace experience).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning internal manufacturing/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) if required. Video editing and Social Media experience requested but not required.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with both frontline workers and executive leadership.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment where production priorities can shift quickly.
  • Discretion: High level of integrity when handling sensitive operational data, HR records, and proprietary manufacturing information.
