Strategic Account Executive (Hunter)

Salsify is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and driven Strategic Account Executive who has previous SaaS experience and an affinity for solution selling. As a Strategic Account Executive at Salsify, you will prospect our largest, most complex potential customers. This includes selling our Salsify PXM Advance platform, associated add-on modules and professional services to large, multi-national, multi-billion dollar brand manufacturers. Strategic Account Executives are responsible for taking a strategic sales approach to sell Salsify's PXM platform to most well-known global enterprise brand manufacturers in the world. We have found that the most successful Strategic Account Executives are masterful storytellers who can weave a complex solution into connecting with brands and optimizing how they are navigating the ever-changing e-commerce landscape. Our Strategic Account Executives are key drivers in Salsify's new customer sales as well as relationships with our clients on the worldwide stage. We are seeking high achievers who continue to set the bar and are true evangelists in their sales approach and follow through.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Hunt for new opportunities externally and employ a proven sales process that builds business value, evangelizes Salsify with the support of our internal champions and close new revenue contracts.
  • Identify and penetrate new global enterprise accounts through aggressive prospecting, networking, and MEDDPIC foundational selling.
  • Develop and drive thoughtful strategic sales plan including maintaining a robust pipeline while forecasting accordingly.
  • Map out complex organizational structures to identify key influencers and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Lead the entire sales process, from initial cold outreach to final contract negotiation, ensuring our value proposition aligns with the client's global business objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with Salsify's key internal teams, including sharing updates with the executive team, feeding information to the product/engineering team to help influence the product roadmap.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to position Salsify as the gold standard.

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • Spent the last 8+ years exceeding an assigned quota with net new sales revenue goals
  • Sold SaaS to global large enterprise customer business units and key personas that include CMOs, VPs, & Directors
  • Mastery of complex sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, MEDDPIC etc)
  • Professional sales training and adherence to a repeatable sales process, experience with MEDDIC is a plus
  • Leveraged and optimized relationships with key accounts in the Fortune 100/500/1000 space
  • Executed multiple complex sales processes concurrently
  • Exceptional presentation skills; ability to command a room (or a Zoom) of executives
  • High resilience, low ego, and a "hunter" mentality-you are motivated by the win
