The Executive Housekeeping Manager supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of room attendants, laundry and commercials cleaners by directing, training, scheduling, and recruiting all team members to assure a smooth-running housekeeping department. Works directly with all team members.
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for maintaining all controllable expenses in the department cost per occupied room and labor cost.
  • Work with vendors on all training of all products
  • Responsible for ordering and inventorying all in room products.
  • Responsible for all team members scheduling.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
  • Full understanding of all hazardous waste and blood borne pathogens.
  • Responsible for team productivity.
  • Assisting the entire staff and management team in maintaining Brand standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining all laundry and facility shifts.
  • Responsible for following all Brand standards
  • Possess full knowledge and understanding of our company's handbook, SOPs, and processes; adhere to and enforce those in a fair and consistent manner
  • Provide disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Take immediate action on problems that are encountered in the hotel.
  • Promote teamwork and associate morale.
  • Communicating with all departments as needed on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain and communicate with front office to assure all rooms forecasts are correct.
  • Conduct all team members performance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
Previous supervisory experience leading a hotel housekeeping department is required.
