Job description

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to support strategic initiatives across Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Procurement, and related business functions. This role will partner with business leaders, legal stakeholders, program teams, and end users to help the organization successfully adopt new processes, technologies, governance frameworks, compliance initiatives, and operating models.

This is not a traditional change management role focused solely on communications and training. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in complex environments, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and proactively driving adoption throughout the lifecycle of major business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change management efforts supporting legal, compliance, governance, procurement, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, and organizational readiness evaluations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management, communication, and adoption strategies.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to build sponsorship and organizational alignment.
  • Create and manage change champion networks across impacted business areas.
  • Identify change resistance and implement mitigation strategies to improve adoption outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, focus groups, and leadership discussions.
  • Develop and monitor change metrics, adoption measures, and post-implementation success indicators.
  • Assess organizational dynamics and stakeholder concerns to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support initiatives involving policy changes, governance processes, procurement modernization, risk management programs, legal operations, and enterprise business transformation.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Organizational Change Management experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Experience applying formal change management methodologies such as PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotter, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience leading change efforts related to Legal Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Procurement, Policy Management, Compliance Programs, or Enterprise Transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, organizational readiness evaluations, and adoption planning.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in environments with evolving priorities, ambiguity, and limited structure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PROSCI Certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging the ADKAR framework to drive organizational adoption and sustainment.
  • Experience supporting Legal Operations, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Procurement Transformation, ERP, or enterprise-wide change programs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
  • Experience implementing governance frameworks, policy changes, operating model transformations, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience building or scaling organizational change capabilities within an organization.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. They understand that sustainable transformation requires more than communications and training. They have demonstrated success utilizing methodologies such as PROSCI and ADKAR to guide stakeholder engagement, increase adoption, manage resistance, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

This individual is comfortable navigating ambiguity, building credibility quickly, facilitating difficult conversations, and partnering across Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Technology, and Business Operations functions to ensure organizational readiness and long-term success.
