Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Santa Monica, California.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. The IR Tech will assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and producing high-quality imaging in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular, neurological, and gastrointestinal interventions.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and specialized equipment before each case.
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and assist with patient positioning and safety.
  • Administer contrast media under physician direction and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and image management using Epic EMR.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and hospital protocols.
  • Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations for emergency procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Active State Radiologic Technologist License
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, fluoroscopy, and interventional procedures
