Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living

We are seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across our two distinctive dining venues: Fireside Restaurant, a full-service fine dining restaurant offering an elevated dinner experience, and Potomac Café, a vibrant all-day café featuring fresh deli selections and made-to-order breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader with a proven track record of success to drive our Signature Dining Programs, emphasizing from-scratch cooking, premium ingredients, and creative, chef-inspired menus. The Executive Chef will provide leadership for all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, food safety, and team development while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence that delivers an outstanding dining experience for every guest.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience from $80,000 - $90,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual bonus

How you will make an impact

  • Ensure efficient and high-quality food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within budget
  • Supervise all kitchen staff and oversee BOH systems, core menus, and recipe management
  • Maintain kitchen and equipment sanitation; conduct monthly internal sanitation audits
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations (Health Dept./HAACP)
  • Partner with General Manager to address and resolve food production or presentation issues
  • Maintain high standards for food quality and plate presentation

What you will need 

  • Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.  
  • Fine dining experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
  • Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
