Job description

State Street Investment Management is building the next generation of ETF distribution by embedding directly into the fastest growing digital wealth platforms.

We are not looking for a traditional asset management distribution head.

We are looking for a platform dealmaker.

This Vice President will help lead Direct Retail Digital Wealth Partnerships with a clear mandate: sign long term, scalable partnerships that integrate SSIM ETF capabilities into digital brokers, neo banks, robo advisors and embedded finance ecosystems.

If you have built strategic partnerships at a digital platform and understand both user growth and monetization economics, this role is built for you.

Location: Boston, MA; Stamford, CT; New York or APAC (Tokyo)

What You Will Do

  • Define partnership strategy rather than simply negotiating agreements.

  • Work alongside Product to shape retail propositions and future platform capabilities.

  • Partner closely with Marketing to design scalable consumer activation strategies.

  • Leverage data and behavioural insights to improve how we prioritise opportunities and allocate investment.

  • Help us identify the next growth engines for the business, beyond what today is ETF as a Service.

  • Contribute to our international strategy by transferring successful models across the US, Europe and Asia rather than allowing each region to reinvent the wheel independently.

Drive Internal Execution

  • Act as the commercial owner across product, capital markets, legal and finance

  • Translate platform needs into institutional capabilities

  • Push for speed, clarity and accountability

Who You Are

  • You have 10 plus years experience in fintech, digital brokerage, asset management partnerships or platform strategy

  • You have signed large, complex, multi year distribution or monetization agreements

  • You understand platform economics including user acquisition, engagement, recurring revenue and margin leverage

  • You are fluent in ETFs, savings plans, model portfolios and embedded investing

  • You are comfortable navigating institutional environments while maintaining fintech speed

Why This Role Is Different

  • You will not manage legacy channels

  • You will build the future channel

  • You will combine institutional scale with platform innovation

  • You will shape how millions of retail investors access ETFs

Success Looks Like

  • Multi year embedded platform agreements

  • Material recurring net flows from digital wealth partners

  • Durable, scalable monetization structures aligned to partner growth

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $207,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

Employees are eligible to participate in State Street's comprehensive benefits program, which includes: our retirement savings plan (401K) with company match; insurance coverage including basic life, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and other optional additional coverages; paid-time off including vacation, sick leave, short term disability, and family care responsibilities; access to our Employee Assistance Program; incentive compensation including eligibility for annual performance-based awards (excluding certain sales roles subject to sales incentive plans); and, eligibility for certain tax advantaged savings plans.
