An Executive Educational Data Analyst is a professional who specializes in analyzing and interpreting educational data at a high level, often to support decision-making by school districts, higher education institutions, or government agencies. They gather, assess, and present data on student performance, institutional effectiveness, and educational programs. Their work helps drive strategies for improvement, policy development, and resource allocation. Executive Educational Data Analysts often lead teams, design data systems, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

To thrive as an Executive Educational Data Analyst, you need advanced analytical skills, expertise in educational data systems, and a background in statistics or a related field, often backed by a relevant degree. Proficiency with data visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI), statistical software (such as R or SPSS), and familiarity with educational databases are typically required. • Analyze data across various subject areas to develop a complete data picture for non-technical leadership and clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data is accessible and organized to support analysis, trend forecasting and alerting needs.
  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive decision-making.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards, such as graphs, tables, and maps, across multiple platforms to communicate findings effectively.
  • Produce recurring and rapid-turnaround reports and analysis, including responses to high-priority leadership and congressional requests, across multiple office branches to ensure a holistic understanding and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their evolving needs, communicate findings clearly, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Adapt to client feedback and requests, fostering strong professional relationships and supporting informed decision-making at all organizational levels.
You Have
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data visualization
  • Experience in quantitative data analysis, performance measurement, data cleansing, metrics evaluation, and applied research
  • Experience executing projects and tasks independently, including large-scale initiatives
  • Experience leading discussions about data products, sources, and projects with executive leadership
  • Ability to identify and analyze data sets to meet customer requirements and translate complex findings into clear narratives for non-technical audiences
  • Ability to be organized, multi-task, and respond quickly to urgent requests
  • Ability to work closely with executive leadership on large data projects and communicate effectively via email and phone
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Science, Applied Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management
Nice If You Have

Compensation
  • Our offerings include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care.
  • Our recognition awards program acknowledges employees for exceptional performance and superior demonstration of our values.
  • Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
  • Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
  • We encourage you to learn more about our total benefits by visiting the Resource page on our Careers site and reviewing Our Employee Benefits page.
