We are seeking a visionary Executive Director, Creative Strategy to lead the convergence of creative excellence and strategic innovation. In this role, you will develop and execute creative strategies that inspire both teams and clients, translating cultural insight and commercial objectives into compelling influencer-led campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with a proven track record of building world-class campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, combining artistic vision with strategic rigor and an obsession with creators and their value to brands.
Reporting Relationship:
The Executive Director, Creative reports to the Chief Strategy Officer, Creo North America.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and lead the creative vision, standards and creative output across Creo's client engagements, ensuring alignment with cultural moments, client objectives and market trends.
Set the creative direction and standards across all high-impact client initiatives and new business, ensuring work is insight-led, differentiated, and creatively compelling while commercially grounded.
Establish and uphold agency-wide standards for creative excellence, ensuring consistent quality, innovation, effectiveness and craft across all creative outputs.
Interrogate creative briefs to uncover core challenges, identify hidden opportunities, and clearly communicate creative direction and deliverables to internal teams and clients.
Serve as the creative lead translating strategic direction into compelling campaign concepts, content architectures, creator-first storytelling opportunities and creative systems that drive measurable results.
Develop creator-native creative processes that enable creators to meaningfully contribute to, shape and evolve campaign ideas.
Lead and mentor a creative team, coaching creative personnel at all levels on strategic thinking, craft, career progression, and performance management.
Define creative briefing, review and feedback processes that elevate creative craft, improve consistency and strengthen the overall quality of creative output.
Partner with strategy and production teams to establish ideal environments and processes for creativity to thrive while maintaining commercial rigor and project feasibility.
Conduct deep research to understand audience needs, emotions, and aspirations, translating insights into creative strategies that align influencer casting and content to brand KPIs and business outcomes.
Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, and platform shifts that align with brand values, translating these into creative implications and opportunities for client strategy.
