Job description

As a VP Sales Executive for Deloitte's Converge for Healthcare portfolio, you will help create the market for the next evolution of our revenue cycle offering: the extension of Revenue Intellect - our established, in-market analytics product - into an agentic platform, powered by Data Studio, that enables full revenue cycle business process outsourcing (BPaaS). Revenue Intellect helps healthcare providers improve financial margin and revenue cycle performance through data-driven insights; the platform and BPaaS motion extends that value from insight to fully AI-enabled execution of the work itself.

Revenue Intellect has been in market for more than nine years and is used by some of the largest and most complex health systems in the country. It remains a product this role sells actively and out of the box, generating near-term revenue and reference clients. The larger opportunity - and the primary focus of this role - is to build the market for the agentic platform and BPaaS engagements that Revenue Intellect is evolving into: larger, multi-year, outcome-based deals in which Deloitte runs revenue cycle processes for clients on an AI-enabled platform.

This is a market-making role, not solely a closing role. You will bring your own senior relationships and your own approach to market outreach; source and originate qualified pipeline; shape the deals; and quarterback complex pursuits alongside the product, delivery, deal-desk, and account teams who carry deals to signature. You will also help shape the pricing, packaging, and commercial constructs for these newer offerings, informed by what you learn in market - an important but secondary part of the role, weighted behind being in market.

Your time is weighted toward the market-making mandate - originating and advancing the Data Studio platform and Rev Cycle BPaaS motion - with continued active selling of Revenue Intellect as the near-term, in-market anchor. Success is measured primarily by qualified pipeline sourced and total contract value (TCV) originated on the platform and BPaaS motion, with a secondary line for Revenue Intellect bookings.

Recruiting for this role ends on 08/17/2026.

Work you'll do

As a VP Sales Executive on the Converge for Healthcare team, you will be responsible for:

  • Sell Revenue Intellect in market. Actively sell Revenue Intellect out of the box across mid-market health systems, regional IDNs, and multi-specialty groups (typically $250M-$2B in net patient revenue), landing near-term wins and reference clients that build credibility for the larger platform story.
  • Make the market for the platform & BPaaS motion. Originate, shape, and quarterback the larger agentic-platform (Data Studio) and revenue-cycle BPaaS pursuits - larger, multi-year, outcome-based engagements - working shoulder-to-shoulder with product, delivery, and solutioning to define both what is sold and how it is delivered. You bring the outreach and the relationships; you are not solely responsible for closing.
  • Pursuit orchestration and pipeline visibility. Partner with Converge for Healthcare leaders, Deloitte Industry account teams, deal desk, inside sales, and marketing to optimize targeting and lead-to-pipeline conversion and to move complex pursuits toward signature; provide structured visibility into qualified pipeline and TCV across the motion.
  • New-logo origination through your own network. Activate your personal network of health system relationships to originate opportunities beyond Deloitte's existing accounts, and set the outreach approach for the segment. Where a Deloitte account relationship exists, you and the account team open doors together and the pursuit team helps carry deals to close.
  • Executive engagement across business and technical buyers. Engage VP and C-suite buyers across revenue cycle, finance, and operations (CFO/COO) on the make-vs-buy decision for BPaaS, and across data, analytics, and IT (CDO/CIO/enterprise architecture) on the platform - advancing deals and building lasting relationships.
  • Shape pricing, packaging, and commercial constructs (secondary). Feed market signal back into the pricing, packaging, and deal constructs for Data Studio and BPaaS - including consumption/capacity-based and outcome-based models - in partnership with the pricing and deal-desk workstream. A field-informed contribution, weighted behind being in market.

A strong, successful candidate will possess these skills

  • Deep fluency in healthcare revenue cycle operations, including denial management, charge capture, payer contracting, coding, and financial performance management, with the ability to translate domain complexity into clear product value for finance and operations executives.
  • Demonstrated track record of building sales infrastructure in a new or early-stage product context-including playbooks, pipeline processes, and go-to-market frameworks-without significant pre-existing organizational support.
  • Established personal network of senior decision makers across health systems, IDNs, and payer organizations that can be immediately leveraged for pipeline development.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, with proven experience presenting to CFO, CRO, COO, and VP-level audiences and structuring complex product value into clear business and ROI outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles spanning procurement, legal, IT security, and compliance, with the judgment to know when to bring in product, delivery, or solution support.
  • Commercially driven, self-directed orientation - comfortable owning pipeline generation, origination, and forecast within an early, still-forming commercial motion, without heavy day-to-day management support.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills, with the ability to operate effectively across Deloitte account teams, product leadership, marketing, inside sales, and delivery in a matrixed environment.
  • Practical familiarity with modern sales tooling and operating rhythms, including CRM hygiene, pipeline forecasting discipline, and structured account planning.
  • Fluency with data platforms and agentic/AI capabilities in healthcare, and the ability to position a platform and its outcomes credibly with both technical buyers (data, analytics, IT) and business buyers (finance, operations).
  • Comfort operating across multiple commercial models - subscription, consumption/capacity-based, and outcome/managed-service (BPaaS) - including deals where pricing and packaging are not yet fixed, with sensitivity to adoption, value realization, expansion, and renewal.
  • Experience selling tech-enabled managed services, business process outsourcing (BPaaS), or outcome-based engagements - where the sale is inseparable from delivery capacity, transition, and client-side operating-model change.
  • Awareness of the broader healthcare market context, including payer-provider dynamics, mid-market consolidation trends, and the competitive landscape across revenue cycle and financial analytics vendors.

The team

This role sits within Converge for Healthcare, Deloitte's industry-focused asset studio for healthcare, and works closely with Deloitte Consulting's Innovation & Delivery Transformation (I&DT) practice. I&DT brings an engineering-, product-, and platform-oriented mindset to how Deloitte builds, delivers, and scales technology-enabled solutions, identifying and investing in areas of growth three, five, and ten years into the future.

Converge for Healthcare combines proprietary data assets, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision intelligence to help health systems and payers improve financial performance, optimize revenue cycle operations, and drive sustainable margin improvement. Revenue Intellect is the flagship product within this portfolio, supported by full product, delivery, marketing, and inside sales teams. Business Development leaders in Converge for Healthcare operate at the intersection of product, industry, and client-partnering with Deloitte Partners, Market Makers, Product Leads, and Pursuit Teams to align offerings with priority client opportunities and growth agendas.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, platform, and/or tech-enabled managed-services sales, with at least 5 of those years selling to or working within healthcare organizations (health systems, IDNs, payers, or physician groups).
  • 5+ years originating and carrying complex, multi-stakeholder deals in software, platform, or managed-services sales, including multi-year agreements structured as subscription, consumption, or outcome-based constructs.
  • Demonstrated record of sourcing qualified pipeline and originating multi-million-dollar total contract value (TCV), with experience being measured on pipeline and origination - not solely on individual closed bookings.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years selling revenue cycle management, revenue integrity, denials management, financial analytics software, or revenue cycle managed services / BPaaS to mid-market or larger health systems and IDNs.
  • Prior experience working inside a healthcare provider or payer organization in revenue cycle, finance, or health IT.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience defined as an additional 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, health informatics, or a related field.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171,600.00 to $338,300.00.

You may also be eligible to participate in a sales incentive program, whereby you may be eligible to receive certain incentive compensation amounts based on achievement of certain sales goals set forth each year, subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable program document.
