Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) by providing data analysis, reporting, and visualizations to improve operational effectiveness, and support mission success. 

The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple enterprise systems to develop workforce analysis, and support enterprise decisions making.  The successful candidate will develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights to government stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Key Responsibilities 

The Data Analyst will: 

  • Develop and continuously enhance STARCOM's workforce analytics capabilities, providing timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making  
  • Analyze workforce, operational, and organizational data to identify trends, measure performance, and support planning efforts 
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance executive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using data from multiple enterprise systems  
  • Design and implement automated reporting solutions, databases, and analytics tools to improve efficiency and data accessibility 
  • Identify workforce trends, hiring metrics, readiness indicators, and organizational performance measures to inform leadership decisions  
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and develop reporting and analytical solutions  
  • Respond to leadership and stakeholder requests by preparing timely, accurate reports, dashboards, and analytical products  
  • Validate, integrate, cleanse, and standardize data from multiple sources to ensure data quality and consistency 
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and recommend enhancements that increase efficiency 
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data visualizations that communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Develop predictive models and trend analyses to support workforce planning, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making

Skills and Experience 

The Data Analyst must have: 

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance 
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) organizations in data analytics, business intelligence, workforce analytics, or a related field  
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, integrating, cleansing, validating, and analyzing large datasets from multiple enterprise systems  
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Excel, or similar business intelligence tools  
  • Experience analyzing business processes, workforce data, and operational metrics to deliver actionable insights and recommendations  
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop data-driven analytical solutions  
  • Experience implementing predictive analytics, forecasting models, and trend analysis to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making 
  • Strong understanding of data quality management, governance, and data validation best practices 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment 

Education and Certifications 

The Data Analystmust meet the following: 

Required 

  • Bachelor of Art (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) 
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education

Security Clearance

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen.
