Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Corrosion Program Analyst to support a mission-critical government aviation and missile sustainment program. This role supports assessments, data analysis, reporting, and field evaluations focused on corrosion prevention, maintenance readiness, Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) effectiveness across Army aviation, missiles, air defense, and associated support systems.

The selected candidate will collaborate with government personnel, military units, logisticians, maintainers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to evaluate organizational readiness, identify risks, and recommend process improvements that directly impact operational availability.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in aviation maintenance, missile systems, military logistics, quality assurance, industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, sustainment operations, or program analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site and remote assessments of corrosion prevention and maintenance programs
  • Analyze unit readiness data, trends, deficiencies, and sustainment metrics
  • Support inspections involving aviation, missiles, ground support, and storage assets
  • Evaluate COSIS and corrosion program compliance and effectiveness
  • Prepare executive-level reports, findings, and corrective action recommendations
  • Track action items and assist leadership with strategic planning decisions
  • Support process improvement initiatives, SOP development, and workflow modernization
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, dashboards, and metrics reporting
  • Interface professionally with senior military and civilian leadership



Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in aviation maintenance, logistics, corrosion control, sustainment, readiness, or quality management
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as mission requires
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or equivalent military/industry experience
  • Army aviation experience (UH-60, CH-47, AH-64, UAS, etc.)
  • Experience supporting missile systems maintenance, readiness, sustainment, storage, or life cycle management
  • Familiarity with missile platforms, launcher systems, or air defense systems
  • Knowledge of corrosion prevention and preservation programs
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems
  • Corrosion (AMPP), A&P, QA, or related certifications
  • Prior military service highly valued
