Comfort Systems USA Ohio is growing our Building Automation and Integrated Systems team and we’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join us as a Building Automation Account Executive .


This role is ideal for someone with SALES experience in:

  • Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC)
  • HVAC controls
  • Security integration
  • Access control
  • Low-voltage systems
  • Technical or commercial service sales


As a Building Automation Sales Representative, you will serve as a technical consultant to building owners, facility managers, contractors, engineers, and end users by helping identify operational challenges and delivering practical, value-driven building solutions.


This is more than a traditional sales role. You’ll work directly with customers to develop solutions related to:

  • Building automation systems
  • Controls upgrades
  • Service agreements
  • Retrofit opportunities
  • Energy optimization
  • Integrated building technologies


What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships
  • Build relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, and facility teams
  • Conduct customer site visits and system assessments
  • Develop estimates, scopes of work, and customer proposals
  • Identify opportunities for service agreements, controls upgrades, and retrofit projects
  • Manage opportunities from prospecting through project award and customer follow-up
  • Maintain an active pipeline and support long-term account growth


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in technical sales, BAS/DDC, HVAC controls, security integration, low-voltage systems, or related industries
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience with estimating, proposals, or solution development preferred
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to business development
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and managing opportunities independently
  • CRM and pipeline management experience preferred
