About the Role:

The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales, nurturing leads and managing customer relationships at higher education institutions in the US in the computer science/engineering/mathematics line of our business. The Account Executive works remotely and owns/manages the customer-facing selling, service, training, and support activities of an assigned territory between typically 50-100 accounts.

Job Responsibilities:
* Drive high-growth new business sales and market share in the territory
* Retain and grow renewals revenue, leveraging those relationships to nurture established accounts across the curriculum
* Develop Sales Processes and effectively communicate those processes to the sales region
* Plan and execute assigned territory call plan strategies using a calendarized salesplaybook to optimize daily and weekly contact metrics for their territory
* Develop thorough account plans for all strategic customers
* Use Salesforce to manage customer relationships, record sales activities, and develop and manage an active qualified pipeline for forecasting purposes
* Relate our company and products' story and positioning, including essential course product knowledge
* Work as a team player within the sales region and team structure and contribute to the organization's culture of collaboration and inclusivity across functional areas

Required Qualifications:
* BS/BA Degree
* 3-4 years in a related field sales position, experience in EdTech Sales and selling toSTEM college-level instructors is a plus
* Experience planning, selling, and presenting and giving demonstrations of technology products and services
* Business application software: Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, CRM knowledge (Preferably Salesforce.com)
* Self-motivated and a history of taking initiative, working independently and remotely
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles in the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, or Spain. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
