Job Description Procurement & Contracts Specialist Location: Minneapolis, MN Employment Type: Contract Position Overview We are seeking a Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support enterprise technology sourcing and vendor management initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, including contract drafting, negotiations, financial analysis, vendor sourcing, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with project management skills and is comfortable working with technology vendors, legal teams, finance, and business stakeholders.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience managing software and technology procurement in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for software, technology, and professional services. Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate vendor contracts, statements of work (SOWs), amendments, and licensing agreements.

Partner with legal, finance, procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts align with organizational policies and business objectives. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate vendor pricing, contract terms, cost savings, and total cost of ownership. Manage vendor selection, RFP/RFI processes, bid evaluations, and supplier negotiations.

Track contract milestones, renewals, expirations, and compliance requirements. Coordinate multiple sourcing and procurement projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and negotiate favorable commercial terms.

Maintain accurate contract documentation and procurement records using enterprise software tools. Prepare executive summaries, reports, and recommendations for leadership. Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or contract administration. Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience conducting financial and cost analysis to support sourcing decisions.

Proven ability to manage multiple procurement or sourcing projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of vendor procurement and strategic sourcing methodologies. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business, legal, finance, and technology teams. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong computer software aptitude with the ability to quickly learn enterprise procurement and contract management systems.
