The Executive Director of Business and Finance provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all financial and business operations of the Pontiac School District. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective stewardship of the District's financial resources through the administration of general accounting, grant and fund accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, procurement, treasury and cash management, investments, risk management, auditing, bond and sinking fund programs, financial reporting, and related business services. The Executive Director ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations while supporting the District's mission through sound fiscal planning, operational excellence, and responsible financial management.
