World Labs

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Job description

About The Company
World Labs is building foundational AI infrastructure for spatial intelligence, the next frontier beyond large language models. Co-founded by Dr. Fei-Fei Li, Justin Johnson and Ben Mildenhall the company is pioneering Large World Models (LWMs), which enable machines to understand and interact with 3D environments, physics, and real-world dynamics.
The company's flagship product, Marble, transforms text, images, and video into fully navigable 3D worlds, unlocking applications across gaming, film, architecture, robotics, and immersive digital experiences. Backed by leading investors and valued at over $1B, World Labs is assembling a world-class team at the intersection of AI research and real-world deployment.
About The Role
World Labs is seeking an Executive Business Partner (EBP) to support the CEO. This is a highly strategic and execution-oriented role designed to create leverage for one of the most influential leaders in AI.
The EBP will operate as a hybrid of Executive Assistant (EA) and Personal Assistant (PA), owning priorities end-to-end, anticipating needs, and ensuring seamless execution across the CEO's professional landscape, including both World Labs and her ongoing commitments at Stanford.
This is a high-trust role for someone who brings excellent judgment and discretion, is highly detail-oriented without sacrificing speed, and knows how to create leverage in a fast-moving environment with significant internal and external demands. The ideal candidate will not only manage execution, but also act as a force multiplier, reducing cognitive load, driving alignment, and enabling the leadership to focus on the highest-impact priorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own CEO's calendar end to end: sequence priorities, protect focus time, anticipate conflicts, and exercise sound judgment on what requires her time and attention. Partner closely with the COO and EA/Ops team to coordinate schedules and priorities.
  • Work very closely with the CEO's Stanford team on competing conflicts and priorities to ensure a seamless schedule. Coordinate complex internal and external scheduling, including executive meetings, press, speaking engagements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings, travels, events, and logistics end to end, ensuring the right preparation, context, and follow-through.
  • Build and maintain a lightweight operating system around priorities, open loops, follow-ups, and key commitments so important work continues moving forward.
  • Ensure the CEO is prepared for key meetings with the right context, pre-reads, agendas, and understanding of who is in the room and what matters.
  • Capture decisions and action items, proactively drive follow-through, and ensure nothing important gets lost between conversations.
  • Manage and triage CEO's inbox, surfacing what requires her attention and drafting thoughtful responses when appropriate. Serve as a trusted partner in prioritization.
  • Personal Assistance: Provide thoughtful personal support when needed, including appointments, vendors, and travel coordination, handling sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Anticipate needs, identify issues early, and take initiative to resolve them proactively with minimal direction.
  • Be comfortable working within a high-stakes and time sensitive environment.

Key Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience supporting c-suite, founder, or similarly high-profile leader in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Operationally minded, organized, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to build systems, create structure, and anticipate needs in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Demonstrated capability orchestrating very complex local and global travel logistics, giving consideration to any additional requirements for a high profile and highly recognized individual.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can adapt thoughtfully to different working styles and build effective relationships across research, engineering, product, marketing, and operations.
  • Experience in technology, AI, academia, or research environments is a plus.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Thoughtful, considerate, and proactively identifies situations and events that require a more nuanced approach or special touch.
  • Tech-savvy, with fluency in modern productivity tools (e.g., Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini, Google Workspace, Slack, Signal).
  • Willingness to be in the San Francisco office 5 days. Flexibility to travel to Palo Alto as required.

We are hiring the brightest minds from around the globe to bring diverse perspectives to our cutting-edge work. If you are ready to help build technology that will reshape how machines perceive and interact with the world, World Labs is your launchpad.
