LIFE SAFETY SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SALES EXEC: RIO GRANDE VALLEY

What you will do

Our continued growth has produced a need for a talented Life Safety Sprinkler Systems Sales Executive to cover our Rio Grande Valley Territory to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role, your responsibilities will include professionally representing the Company, estimating, and quoting Fire Sprinkler Systems for Commercial, Institutional, and Industrial facilities, and the ability to build new business associations/relationships and grow the Sprinkler Service business by developing a positive ongoing relationship with customers.

How you will do it

  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. Stay close to the work to identify and remove obstacles for customers.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with major customers and contractors with the prime objective of negotiating and closing quality orders. Foster trust and collaboration to achieve shared goals.

  • Willingness to learn and apply proven sales principles and practices. Engage in continuous learning and problem-solving to refine your approach.

  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives. Take ownership with integrity and accountability to ensure successful outcomes.

What we look for

Required

  • 2+ years of Sales experience in Sprinkler system sales or a similar field.

  • Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations, preferred.

Preferred

  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and understanding current NFPA 13 standards and local codes.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and organize work.

  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including operating systems like Windows and Oracle systems.

  • Ability and willingness to work as a team player; must be able to work well with others.

What you will do

In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include expertly representing the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of Fire Sprinkler service offerings to various customers and end users within assigned territory and accounts.

How you will do it

  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of new construction and service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and using outlined marketing strategies.

  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.

  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.

  • Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13 standards and local codes.

  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers, general contractors and end users.

  • Estimate small projects including day-works as required.

  • Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Sprinkler Service Business.

What we look for

  • Two years Sales experience in a similar industry preferred.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $ 70k- $95K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
