Serving Froedtert & ThedaCare North Region and Bellin Health Northeast Wisconsin
About NEWTRO:
NEWTRO is a private, physician-led radiation oncology group serving the Northeast Wisconsin region in close partnership with Froedtert/ThedaCare North and Bellin Health. Our model emphasizes multidisciplinary integration, disease-oriented teams, Centers of Excellence development, and advanced technology deployment across breast, lung, GI, GU, CNS and hematologic malignancies. We are building a forward-thinking, collaborative oncology platform designed around physician leadership, innovation, and patient-centered care.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our growing physician-led team. This role includes:
  • Delivering comprehensive radiation oncology care using advanced modalities
  • Active participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Engagement in Centers of Excellence and disease-oriented teams
  • Contribution to quality improvement initiatives and program development
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research (NRG, NCORP affiliations)
  • Strategic collaboration with neurosurgery, medical oncology, and surgical oncology partners

Clinical Capabilities:
Technology and treatment platforms include:
  • SRS/ SBRT
  • IMRT/ VMAT/ IGRT
  • HDR brachytherapy
  • Advanced CNS programs including integration with LITT
  • Emerging modalities (FLASH and pulsed low dose under evaluation)
Candidate Profile:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Strong clinical judgement and commitment to multidisciplinary care
  • Interest in program building and service line growth
  • Professionalism and executive maturity
  • Desire to practice in a physician-led, collaborative environment
  • Interest in academic engagement and clinical research welcomed
