Albuquerque Publishing Company and the Albuquerque Journal are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Associate Account Executive to help connect local businesses with the power of advertising. In this role, you won't just sell ads-you'll help shape marketing strategies, solve problems, and make an impact in your community.  With expert training, mentorship, and a clear path for growth, this is an excellent opportunity to launch or level up your career in media sales. 


What You'll Do

  • Identify and secure new advertising clients across print and digital platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and upsell existing accounts.
  • Develop tailored advertising proposals that meet client goals.
  • Coordinate campaign execution from sale to publication.
  • Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Monitor and report campaign performance, offering strategic recommendations 
  • Track sales activity, learning progress, and forecasts in CRM systems

Compensation

We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential. To help you hit the ground running, we offer a $6,000 commission guarantee over your first six months, setting you up for success from day one.
