Executive Assistant to the CEO

Netic

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 9 days ago

Job description

Netic is the AI revenue engine for essential services who are the backbone of the American economy. With $43M in funding from Founders Fund, Greylock, Hanabi, and Dylan Field who led our Series B, we helped our customers book hundreds of thousands of jobs across services industries in North America. There are now companies operating entirely AI-first on Netic.
You'll join our team with relentless builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.
About the role
Netic is growing fast, and our founder CEO is at the center of every major decision the company makes - product, fundraising, hiring, customers, all of it. We're looking for an Executive Assistant to support her exclusively, full-time, at the center of the business.
This is our first dedicated EA hire, which means the role is both mission-critical to daily operations and genuinely strategic: getting this right is what lets our CEO give the company her best across every part of the business. You'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to grow into a true executive business partner and become more deeply woven into company operations as we scale.
What you'll do
  • Own the CEO's calendar completely - anticipate what she needs before she asks, resolve conflicts, and protect her time against the constant pull of competing priorities.
  • Arrange every detail of CEO travel, domestic and international, often on short notice and subject to last-minute changes.
  • Prep her for high-stakes moments - investor meetings, board conversations, candidate closes - so she walks in with exactly what she needs.
  • Be the first point of contact for top-tier investors and executives reaching the CEO, representing Netic with polish every time.
  • Run her inbox and Slack so nothing important slips, and figure out ways to use AI and automation to handle the repetitive stuff.
  • Draft and proofread documents, decks, and correspondence to a standard that's ready to go out the door.
  • Execute decisions independently, weighing competing priorities without waiting for detailed direction.
  • Be available at odd hours when travel or the business demands it, including occasional evenings and weekends.
What you'll bring
  • Experience directly supporting a senior executive or investor in the tech industry - venture capital experience is a strong plus. We're open on years of experience, but 4+ years is ideal.
  • Real grit. We move fast and things change quickly here. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have a natural drive to make things work, even when there's no playbook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication - you write cleanly, speak clearly, and hold your own with hyper-technical or highly experienced people.
  • Obsessive attention to detail. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • High reliability and availability, including comfort supporting travel and occasional evening or weekend needs.
  • A high slope - you don't need to have done this exact role before, but you learn fast, take feedback well, and adapt on the fly.
  • Genuine excitement about executive support as a craft, not a stepping-stone.

What brings us together is our commitment to:
  • Live to build
  • Run through walls and win
  • Obsess over customers in each line of code
  • Lose sleep over the "almost perfect"
  • Show internal locus of control
  • Prioritize finesse: refinement of first principles thinking, execution, and craftsmanship
