JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant provides professional administrative support to the CEO and CFO for KCSL and the KCSL Foundation President. As directed by the CEO may provide professional administrative support to any member of the Executive Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Professional Administrative Support
    • Manages executive calendars, travel, email, and communication priorities for CEO and CFO

    • Prepares materials and logistics for meetings, including agendas, handouts, and minutes

    • Coordinates filing, mail handling, and maintains the Administrative Policy Manual

  • Board Support

    • Prepares and distributes agendas, minutes, and materials for Board/Foundation and committee meetings

    • Coordinates logistics for meetings and events, including strategic planning and annual retreat

    • Maintains permanent records, Board directories, and orientation manuals

  • Philantropy Team Support

    • Assists with communication of Philanthropy team and committee activities with the Board of Directors and Trustees by preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports

    • Provides professional support to the KCSL Fund Development Team as directed by the CEO or the KCSL-Foundation Fund Development Committee Chair

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing executive level administrative support.
  • Demonstrated ability working effectively with volunteers, donors, clients, and managers.
  • Demonstrated ability communicating successfully in writing and verbally.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
