Executive Assistant & Client Success Specialist
We’re looking for a dedicated, proactive, and customer-obsessed professional to join our team as an Executive Assistant & Client Success Specialist. This is more than a typical support role — you will be the guardian of the owner’s time and the friendly, problem-solving face of the business. You take pride in handling issues, so others don’t have to, protecting key people from unnecessary stress while ensuring every customer feels genuinely cared for.
If you’re the type of person who sees a problem thinks— I’m going to make sure this gets taken care of,” this role is for you.
You May Be a Great Fit as a Customer Retention Specialist at Tammy Johnson State Farm if:
  • You’re the person people call first when life goes sideways - calm, steady, and ready to help.
  • You genuinely care about your community and are dedicated to providing excellent service that makes a positive impact on the people around you.
  • You’re a natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and keeps it.
  • You listen first, then guide, making customers feel understood while confidently recommending solutions.
  • You’re compassionate under pressure and can guide someone through their worst day with clarity and empathy.
Location Address: 48836 Romeo Plank Macom MI 48044
Responsibilities
  •  Act as the first point of contact for customers — answering phones, responding to inquiries, and solving problems with a positive, can-do attitude.
  •   Provide high-level executive assistance to the owner, managing administrative tasks, scheduling, and shielding time so the focus stays on high-value work.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers — helping with retention, addressing concerns, and proactively making customers feel valued and supported.
  •   Conduct light sales activities with current customers when opportunities arise (no cold calling).
  • Ask for customer referrals and testimonials to help the business grow.
  • Handle difficult or frustrated customers gracefully
  •  Perform general administrative duties with strong attention to detail (emails, documentation, follow-ups, organization, etc.).
  • Support the team in a collaborative, fun, and interactive environment.
  •  Be willing to come in early or stay late occasionally when the business needs it.
  • Help identify ways to improve processes and contribute to overall business growth.
Qualifications
  •  A genuinely helpful person who enjoys dealing with customers and solving problems.
  • Strong communication skills — especially on the phone — with the ability to make people feel heard and better after every interaction.
  •  High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a desire to see the business succeed.
  • Loyalty, honesty, dedication, and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn new things and grow with the company (training provided).
  • Positive attitude and enjoyment of a fun, supportive, interactive work environment.
  • Comfort handling difficult situations professionally and calmly.
  • A growth mindset — you care about customer retention and business development.
    Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses Property and Casualty and Life Insurance
