Production Strategy Analyst

Diamond Packaging, a global leader specializing in developing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is currently recruiting for a full-time Production Strategy Analyst to join our team.

Primary responsibility for optimizing production planning, scheduling effectiveness, and data integrity within the Scheduling system and across the carton manufacturing workflow. This role serves as the system owner for scheduling, a backup scheduler when needed, and a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives.

This position ensures alignment between customer demand, production capacity, materials, and operational execution—while improving On-Time Delivery (OTD), efficiency, and overall workflow performance.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Must have high school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Encore or similar ERP/scheduling systems required

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in ERP system functionality and scheduling logic
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Understanding of:
    • Press and finishing operations
    • Tooling processes (cutting dies, embossing, stamping)
    • Material flow and production constraints
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
