Overview
Hospitality Health ER, a freestanding ER in Longview, TX, is seeking a Culinary Host to join our team. This role is about more than food service - it's about creating a welcoming, comfortable, and caring experience for our patients and guests.
Responsibilities
As a Culinary Host, you'll play a key role in delivering first-class hospitality by:
  • Setting tables and trays according to HHER service standards.
  • Taking and processing accurate food & beverage orders.
  • Checking in with patients/guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Serving meals and beverages promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Clearing and cleaning trays, trolleys, and service areas.
  • Stocking lobbies and patient fridges with fresh items.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of glassware, chinaware, plasticware, and work areas.
  • Reporting cleanliness, maintenance, and guest concerns to supervisors.
  • Assisting with inventories and restocking supplies.
  • Minimizing waste and breakage while monitoring equipment and supplies.
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen and service team.
• Requirements & Qualifications
We're looking for a team member who:
  • Is at least 18 years old.
  • Holds a current Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Has knowledge of food prep, handling, and sanitation standards.
  • Can operate POS/order-taking systems and basic software.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to work independently.
  • Communicates clearly and gets along well with others.
  • Shows genuine care and sensitivity for people, especially older adults.
  • Has basic math and English reading/writing skills.
  • Preferably has prior food service or hospitality experience.
  • A Hotel Management diploma or similar qualification is a plus.
