Job Description: Experienced HVAC Technician or Experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician.

Location: Lathrop, CA.
Compensation: Based on Experience.
TDI Refrigeration is seeking goal-oriented, hardworking HVAC/R or HVAC technicians who are driven to excel. We drive excellence and expect a hardworking, driven candidate. As a proven leader in the refrigeration and commercial HVAC industry, TDI Refrigeration offers state-of-the-art exposure to cutting-edge technology. Our staff of professionals is constantly training and honing their skills to be better. We are a rapidly growing service company, looking for skilled and motivated technicians to join our team.
Duties:
  • Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial ammonia (NH₃), commercial refrigeration and commercial air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues; perform system start-ups and shutdowns; maintain compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, and associated components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA/PSM/RMP regulations, and company procedures.
  • Complete accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to keep systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with on-call rotation.
  • Obtain or maintain RETA CIRO/CARO certification.
  • Complete work orders and timecard daily.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections with documentation to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with PSM, RMP, IIAR, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Document service work accurately and complete required reports on time.
  • Communicate safety concerns clearly to customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in emergency service calls and support plant operations as needed.
  • Mentor junior technicians and promote best practices in safety and workmanship.
