Looking for more than just a local job site? Wood Air Conditioning is hiring Traveling HVAC Installer Helpers to join our commercial install team.


You’ll travel to job sites across Texas and surrounding states, working on large-scale commercial projects for major national retailers like Walmart—while gaining hands-on experience and getting paid to travel.

  • Follow all company safety protocols 
  • Learn directly from experienced HVAC technicians on large-scale projects 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Some  HVAC, mechanical, or construction experience preferred (willing to train motivated candidates) 
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces 
  • Willingness and availability to travel regularly 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to meet-up locations 
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn 
  • Dependable and team-oriented
