Location: Vermillion, SD. Must commute or relocate for the role.
Job Type: Full-Time

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair outboard motors and select inboard engines
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and winterization
  • Install marine electronics, steering systems, controls, and accessories
  • Conduct inspections and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards
  • Occasionally perform river tests to verify repair quality and performance
  • Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Mechanical repair experience preferred (marine, automotive, diesel, powersports, agricultural, or heavy equipment)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
  • Basic hand tools required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to maneuver boat trailers
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
