We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Exam Room Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary connection between clients, patients, and veterinarians, helping appointments run smoothly while making sure every family feels heard, informed, and supported.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome clients and patients into the exam room with warmth and professionalism
  • Obtain detailed and accurate medical histories
  • Review preventive care needs and recommendations with clients
  • Serve as an important communication link between clients and veterinarians
  • Safely restrain, handle, and comfort patients using Fear Free techniques
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples
  • Collect urine and fecal samples for diagnostic testing
  • Administer vaccines as directed
  • Place IV catheters
  • Perform ear cleaning and anal gland expression
  • Assist with other routine clinical procedures as needed
  • Prepare exam rooms before appointments
  • Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available for each visit
  • Help maintain efficient appointment flow and minimize delays
  • Educate clients on pet nutrition and preventive care
  • Discuss parasite prevention and medication administration
  • Counsel clients on wellness procedures and follow-up recommendations
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document client communication
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and teammates
  • Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and well stocked
