ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout property.
Provide team member training, interdepartmental communications, team member scheduling, and performance reviews.
Promote an atmosphere that insures both internal and external guest satisfaction as well as ensure both safety and comfort of all across the entire resort, while adhering to all company and regulatory compliance.
Plan, organize and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with union contract and with quality assurance standards, as well as rules and regulations set forth by the hotel and the corporation. Ensure proper compliance with OSHA and Hazcom programs.
Establish and maintain adequate supplies for the efficient operation of the department. Maintain all EVS records as required.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction in assigning and instructing team members in the details of their work.
Review guest complaints/concerns and take appropriate action.
Schedule team members to guarantee maximum productivity and guest satisfaction with a minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor and material.
Plan and conduct team member meetings. Attend other related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, decor, etc., which requires continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public areas. Make recommendations and assist in the coordination and design of rehab projects.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Knowledgeable and proficient in all EVS equipment, chemicals, & techniques.

Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally sitting and constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to constantly lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs or less.
The team member will have constant repetitive use of both feet and both hands. Team member will have constant light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
