Job description

LR-Associates, LLC (LRA) is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides Logistics Support; Facilities Management (Operations & Maintenance); Program Management; and Security & Intelligence solutions. We support Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as Private Industry by offering skilled personnel throughout a wide-array of technical disciplines.

We are looking for multiple EVS Technicians to support the Hampton VA Health Care System. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (2) years' experience in general cleaning in a hospital setting. Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills is a must.

Work Schedule:

  • 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 1030-1900
  • To include, some Federal Holidays

Applicants must be US citizens and able to pass a government background check. Minimum of one-year cleaning experience including six months of floor buffing experience preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities: Performing cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning the lobby area, hallways, bathrooms. Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refill all paper products, clean kitchen/break areas. Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.


Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
