We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping and environmental services operations. The EVS Supervisor maintains and is responsible for leading the EVS Attendants in conducting their daily duties to meet established standards and guidelines of cleanliness. Must possess the ability to solve problems and address guest concerns through effective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate good judgement to include seeking management's assistance as needed.

Location: The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
Hours: Full-time: 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:00am) with the ability for weekends and holiday's required
Job Responsibilities
  • Assume the role to successfully supervise a shift, while also working in the capacity as an EVS Attendant, including being a resource for all EVS Attendants.
  • Ensure proper coverage of the shift, absent an EVS Assistant Manager.
  • Inform the EVS Assistant Manager of any relevant information about the shift that they lead.
  • Supervise the shift by taking responsibility to liaise with other departments.
  • As necessary, assign the roadmap and scheduled cleaning locations / tasks for the EVS Attendants in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the gaming floor areas, restaurants, restrooms and back of house areas by performing assigned rotations throughout the shift.
  • Stocks, tracks, and orders supplies as needed.
  • Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Respond to spills, biohazards, and urgent cleaning needs quickly and professionally.
  • Dust and vacuum furnishings, wash walls, cleans ceilings, and polishes light fixtures
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.

Physical/Mental Working Demands
  • Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work the entire property; to include the ability to tolerate changes in temperature, frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning, and sanitizing solutions.
  • Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must possess the manual dexterity to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and tools requiring the ability to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
